about

Call it space rock, call it art rock, call it progressive indie textural mamma jammas. Call it whatever you want, but creating beautiful, challenging, conceptual epics is something that appears to come easy to Boston, MA's Constants.

The courageously ambitious three-part exercise in atmosphere and mood displayed within "The Foundation, The Machine, The Ascension" is a haunting experience. It knows when to build, when to change, when to climax, when to breathe, and when to stop. This is an album of such subtle extremes and tasteful intricacies that the further you delve into its many layers, the more lost you become and the more rewarded you will be. Not for the faint of heart, this is a music lover's album on every level.

Whispering vocal harmonies, walls of chorused synths and booming Peter Gabriel-esque drums coalesce into an album landing somewhere between M83 and Mew. Simply put, Pasiflora might just be their best and most creative release yet. ... more
